JourneyWomen is a 30 min, multi-episode series building a foundation for women in the construction skilled trades one episode at a time.
JourneyWomen follows an all female construction crew: contractor to carpenter, electrician to plumber, roofer to mason, welder to dry waller, and everything in between, getting into the nuts and bolts, literally, of what it takes to succeed in the construction industry. Industry leaders show viewers what it takes to work on a construction job and where to find the training to get the job done right.
Inspired by the groundswell of women speaking loudly and advocating for policy issues during recent elections both national and local, The Ticket delves into how women’s perspectives affect opportunity and change.
These non-partisan conversations on maternal and reproductive health, gun violence protection, upholding truth in prosecutorial law, accountability in times of extremism, LGBTQIA understanding, economic development for small businesses, the environment and climate change, AND national security from women in elected office and grass roots organizations shows how their voices and representation matter.
